Al Jumail – The Abandoned Fisherman’s Village
360° Virtual Reality Experience
The name comes from the Arabic word “jameel”, which means “beautiful” a reference to the trees that grow in the area year-round. Explore the Qatar’s abandoned fisherman’s village (Al Jumail) from the sky.
For this project our creative team took the challenge to produce a 360° video mounted on a drone for the propose to creating a 8K 360° video which explores old village.
Our skilled drone operator managed to fly the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone while it’s been mounted with a custom stabilized rig and a 360° camera to capture the amazing sights from the sky.
